Andrew Geeson   Watercolour wet in wet    Floral & architectural

To start off our year local artist Andrew will delight us with his fun wet in wet watercolour techniques when he aims to do at least 2 paintings on the night!


23 February         

Stephen Ashurst                 Oil           portrait

Stephen is a regular at Patching’s with his impressionistic style, he will pick a model from the audience and fascinate us with an oil portrait with a difference.


22 March

Tim Fisher             Line and Wash

Welcome back to Tim, a popular local artist and author he will demonstrate his quick sketching techniques  using line and wash.

24 May                  

Amanda Jackson                   Acrylic                    Light effects in glaze work

Which brush & medium? To get that feeling, “I know what I’m doing, now I just need to practice it” That’s what Amanda will demonstrate tonight.


28 Jun                   

Terry Harrison                      Watercolour         Harbour Scene

To get us in the mood for our summer holidays Terry will show us how to create a colourful harbour scene, with old cottages and boats.


26 July                   

Carole Baker         Adventures in Acrylic

 Carole had an exhibition in the Sock Gallery last year, with bold and vibrant colours Inspired by the landscape she creates exciting and evocative paintings.


23 August             

Crit night – a popular club night, bring along your paintings for us to discuss and deliberate over.


27 September     

Sue Faulks             Acrylic/mixed media

Following on from last year’s entertaining demo, Sue will come up with more exciting techniques for you to have a play at home.



Tas Severis            Pastels

Be prepared for some zingy pastel painting, Tas, a resident artist at Patchings loves colour so we are in for a treat tonight.



Carol Hill                Watercolour        Landscape

To finish off the year popular water-colourist Carol takes her inspiration from the Derbyshire landscape.
